The Senior Seminar Program at Central Montco Technical High School is designed with several goals in mind. Our first goal is to help our students to continue to be life-long learners. Students receive help with the reading and vocabulary they encounter in their fields of choice and strategies to help improve their lifetime literacy skills.
During the course of this program and through the Pennsylvania Career Education and Work Standards, students will be required to complete a portfolio which includes a career objective essay, resume, references, achievements and photographs. This is a career-based portfolio which reinforces technical and research writing standards while creating an employability vehicle that showcases the student’s personality as well as technical and academic achievements.
Senior Seminar also helps prepare our students to enter the work force. Students learn about interview skills, filling out applications, and many other career related topics such as personal finances including bank accounts, paychecks, and budgeting.
