Summer Career Experience Camp Details

SCE Camp Registration is $150 per week.

CMTHS will provide a full refund on Summer Career Experience Camp Registration if the cancellation is placed by May 1, 2026.

CMTHS will provide a 50% refund for cancellations after May 1 and before July 1, 2026.

No refunds after July 1, 2026.

Camp change requests require 14 days notice, if there is room in another program.

Lunch - Each Camper is responsible for packing their own lunch. (Cold Lunch)

SCE Camp is for rising 6th through 9th Grade students.

Drop Off is at 8:00 AM and Pick Up is at 1:00 PM.
Summer Career Experience Camp Code of Conduct
It is the goal of CMTHS to provide a healthy, safe, secure environment for all camp participants. CMTHS teaches the core values of honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Students who attend the Summer Career Experience Camp are expected to follow the Code of Conduct below and to interact appropriately in a group setting.

No use of profanity, offensive language or name-calling will be tolerated.

No physical aggression, e.g. hitting, kicking, pulling, fighting, spitting, etc.

Be enthusiastic, thoughtful, open-minded, and involved.

Treat others as you would like to be treated.

Complete respect for all equipment, facilities and grounds is expected.
Disciplinary Procedures:
When a Summer Career Experience participant does not follow the Code of Conduct, we may take the following steps:
1. Staff will redirect the child to more appropriate behavior.
2. The student will be reminded of the behavior guidelines and camp rules, and a discussion will take place.
3. The Summer Career Experience Coordinator will be notified of the problem and will meet with the student.
4. If the behavior persists, a parent will be notified of the problem.
5. If a problem persists and a child continues to disrupt the Summer Career Experience program, CMTHS reserves the right to suspend or remove the student from Summer Career Experience. If this were to happen, CMTHS will not grant a credit or refund for any Summer Career Experience payments.
Summer Career Experience Camp 2026 Programs:
Baking & Pastry Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Students entering grades 6th through 9th will explore the delicious world of baking and pastry in this fun, hands-on summer camp. Campers will learn basic baking techniques while creating a variety of sweet treats such as cookies, cupcakes, and pastries. Along the way, they will discover how to measure ingredients, use kitchen tools safely, and understand the basics of baking science. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy working in the kitchen, being creative with food, and learning about careers in baking and pastry arts. Join us for a sweet week of learning, creativity, and tasty results!
Barbering Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Get ready to explore the art and creativity of barbering! In this hands-on summer camp, students entering grades 6th through 9th will learn the basics of barbering, including haircutting techniques, grooming skills, tool safety, and professional shop practices. Campers will have the opportunity to work with barbering tools, practice styling techniques, and discover what it’s like to work in the barbering industry. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy creativity, working with their hands, and learning about careers in the beauty and grooming industry. Join us for a fun and engaging experience where style, skill, and confidence come together!
Cookie & Cake Decorating Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Calling all future bakers and creative decorators! In this fun and hands-on camp, students entering grades 6th through 9th will learn the basics of cookie and cake decorating. Campers will explore techniques such as piping, icing, color mixing, and creative design while decorating delicious treats. Along the way, they will learn about baking tools, kitchen safety, and the skills used by professional bakers and pastry artists. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy being creative in the kitchen and want to discover the sweet world of baking and pastry arts. Cosmetology Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Discover the exciting world of cosmetology in this hands-on summer camp designed for students entering grades 6th through 9th. Campers will explore the basics of hair styling, braiding, nail design, skincare, and salon techniques while learning about the tools and safety practices used in the beauty industry. Hawk Tank Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Do you have a great idea for a product, service, or invention? In Hawk Tank Camp, students entering grades 6th through 9th will work in teams to brainstorm creative ideas, design a product or business concept, and develop a pitch to present to a panel of “Hawks.” Campers will learn the basics of entrepreneurship, teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills while bringing their ideas to life. At the end of the camp, teams will present their ideas in the exciting Hawk Tank Challenge, where creativity, innovation, and confidence take center stage!
Landscape, Design & Construction Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Get ready to build, design, and create! In this hands-on summer camp, students entering grades 6th through 9th will explore the exciting fields of landscaping, outdoor design, and basic construction. Campers will learn how to plan outdoor spaces, work with plants and materials, and use tools safely while creating small landscape and construction projects. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy working outdoors, being creative, and building things with their hands. Networking & Robotics Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)

Students entering grades 6th through 9th will learn the basics of computer networking and robotics through fun, hands-on activities and challenges. Campers will discover how devices connect and communicate, explore building a computer, and work with robotic systems to complete tasks and solve problems. This camp is perfect for students who enjoy technology, building things, and figuring out how systems work. Join us for three days of innovation, teamwork, and discovery as campers explore careers in technology and engineering.
Public Safety Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)

Students entering grades 6th through 9th will explore careers in public safety, including firefighting, emergency medical services (EMT), and law enforcement. Campers will participate in hands-on activities, learn safety skills, teamwork, and problem-solving, and discover how first responders protect and serve their communities. Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Therapy Summer Camp (Grades 6 - 9)
Explore the science of sports health and recovery in our Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Therapy Camp! Students entering grades 6th through 9th will learn how athletic trainers and rehabilitation specialists help prevent injuries, support recovery, and keep athletes performing at their best.
