Parent Testimonial!

“I cannot tell you what a terrific program CMTHS is. It changed Everything for Vincent. This program made Vincent want to learn. It opened his eyes to a whole new world. He put 💯 into it. Through CMTHS, Vincent did the Co-op program and met an outstanding Director of the program, Ms. Delellis. Last Summer, Vincent was picked to work at Germantown Academy and learn from a Master Electrician. Vincent did just that. Thru that program, Vincent learned the skills he needed and put in the hard work.
This whole experience gave Vincent an identity, a purpose, and a goal, and he has not stopped. He was recently offered five job offers. He just accepted one of them with Knorr Electric. They were So impressed with Vincent they offered him an apprenticeship position to become A Master Electrician.
I am So Grateful To Harriton and Mrs. Marcusan for making this possible. This changed the way Vincent viewed school. College is only for some people and this program is an example that kids can be just as successful. Vincent just got his NOCTI score, and he scored ADVANCED in theory and practical.
Sincerely,
Sherie Dilella
Here is what Instructors from our Sending Schools are saying:
April 2023
“Thank you so much for including us in such a meaningful experience for our students! I received some great feedback from them, and they are really looking forward to enrolling in their programs of interest in 10th grade.
Another thing that brought pure joy to my heart was seeing some of my former students thriving in their tech programs, and the excitement that they had when seeing us there. I am so proud that they are working hard for their future professions and continuing to achieve their goals!" - Upper Merion Instructor
Here is what our students are saying about CMTHS:
“Everyone in this school (CMTHS) is so nice and supportive. All schools aren’t like that." - CMTHS student to a teacher at the end of the day.
"I wanted to thank you so much for being my teacher. It has been a great learning experience and I will always remember you were the greatest teacher I’ve had in my life. I can say that you have been one of the many reasons I wanted to be the best I can be in this field. Thank you so much” – NHS Senior
“I have been enjoying your class for two years. Thanks for all the jokes, smiles and life lessons. You were the teacher who would always brighten up my afternoons whenever I didn't feel like myself and just knowing that (even if you had stuff going on), you always managed to keep a smile on your face and keep all of your students happy, which inspires me a lot.” – PWHS Senior
“I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for the best three years of my life. You were an amazing teacher and I’ll never forget you. Thank you so much for dealing with all of my moods and never failing to put a smile on my face.” – UMHS Senior
And even parents are talking:
"Dear Chefs Young, Wheeler & D’Angelo: I want to thank you for how you all interact with your students. It was clear to me the other night that you treat my child as a peer and it really brings out the best in him. When I told him that there was an open house on Wed and did he want to go with me, he gave me an enthusiastic yes! I nearly fell over! He walked in ahead of me to go see his teacher and was excited to talk to you all about his job and also the upcoming school year. As we were leaving, he told me he was really looking forward to starting tech school this year. That has everything to do with the 3 of you. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate how you treat him and influence his overall state of mind!" -Upper Merion Parent
"Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement about my daughter! She is a joyful, compassionate, kind young lady and she works really hard. We are so excited that she has the opportunity, in high school, to use her innate abilities and love for kids to explore early childhood ed. I hope she will continue to feel encouraged and her abilities acknowledged so she can move into the next chapters of life with confidence. I know you didn’t have to call to share those things about her, so thank you for taking the time to do that! We know she’s awesome and it’s always a blessing to hear from others who see it, too. I know how much she has enjoyed her tech school experience this year and always speaks highly of you. Thank you for supporting her as she pursues her education." - CMTHS Parent
"I want to thank you VERY much for working with my son getting him motivated, believing in him, encouraging him. I am sure you did that for all of your students. I am really grateful for how you handled their distance learning. You did a wonderful job, my son had a hard time dealing with being isolated, and the only real thing he had to look forward to was your class.” - CMTHS Parent
“I want to thank you, the teachers, and all the Staff at CMTHS for your hard work in teaching and training my son.” - CMTHS Parent
